As a retired school teacher who taught outdoor ed and mentored kids through outdoor experiences, Larry continues to teach and reach folks with outdoor learning. He is an Area Chief for TPWD Aquatics Ed. And an archery specialist with the Texas Archery in Schools Project through TPWD.
Beaumont - Master Anglers: Adam Jaynes
Capt. Adam Jaynes grew up fishing at his grandparent's camp on the bank of the Mermentau River in south Louisiana. At the age of 12 Adam began mowing yards to save money to purchase his first boat.

Lake Jackson - Master Angler: Tony Gonzalez
When Tony was a youngster it seemed his parents would always know where to find him; he’d be found standing beside one of the areas local ponds or lakes catching Sunfish and Largemouth Bass, often using night crawlers dug up from his mothers flower beds. Some of Tony’s most fond memories come from sitting on the bank of Shy Pond with his father catching loads of Bluegill.
